We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Participate in regular training sessions on food safety and culinary techniques.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy environment.
