MACHINE OPERATOR/GENERAL LABOURER in Newmarket
Set up and operate rotational moulding machine to mould plastic products
a. Put powder in moulds
b. Close mould
c. Start Machine
d. Fill out Production Sheet (each run)
- Remove part from Mould and reload powder for next cycle
- Inspect part to make sure no imperfections
POST SECONDARY OPERATION
- Trim parts of excessive plastic (as per customer requirements). This is done when the machine is processing parts which is approximately 45 minutes.
- Prepare product to ship to customer put on skids or put in boxes.
- Stretchwrap skids
- Label skids
- Take skid down to Shipping Area using pump truck
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES
- Handling heavy loads +50 lbs.
- Long periods of standing
- Reading text; communication; working with others, good command of the English
language
- Must have own Safety Shoes/Boots
