Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Floor & Carpet Cleaner to join our client's professional mobile cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality carpet cleaning services to residential and commercial clients. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and maintain the reputation of our company.
Responsibilities
- Operate cleaning equipment, including carpet cleaning, floor cleaning and pressure washing with power tools and specialized cleaning machines
- Use hand tools and custodial equipment to thoroughly clean carpets, upholstery, and flooring surfaces
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to cleaning and upkeep of client spaces
- Apply appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques tailored to different types of carpets and fabrics
- Be able to drive and commute to client's locations in a timely manner to offer cleaning services
- Manage time effectively to complete jobs within scheduled timeframes
- Handle heavy lifting of equipment and furniture as needed during cleaning projects
- Maintain a safe work environment by following proper safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Keep work areas clean and organized before, during, and after cleaning tasks
Qualifications
- 1+ year of Experience with custodial or commercial cleaning
- Must have valid G Driver's license
- Must have clean driver's abstract
- Familiarity with cleaning power tools, hand tools, and cleaning equipment
- 1+ year of experience with pressure washer
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices related to cleaning operations
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning results
Shift
Flexible work schedule, with 24- 26 hours work weeks (3-4 days/ week or as needed)
Pay-rate
$20/hr
