Turning crashed cars into car-tastic creations
Bray Motors LTD – Sundridge, Ontario 705-384-5333
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25–$35 per hour or based on experience
Benefits: Completive benefit plan
Company overview
Tired of working in a shop that treats every vehicle like a bumper-car crash course? Bray Motors is a different kind of collision repair shop. We take damaged vehicles and give them a new lease on life, and we have a good time doing it. Our team is like a pit crew that can actually fix things, and we're looking for another ace to join our ranks. We value craftsmanship, camaraderie, and maybe a few well-timed jokes.
Job summary
Are you a master of metal, a savant of sanding, and a guru of grinding? We're on the hunt for a Collision Repair Technician who can fix up a car like it just rolled off the showroom floor—minus all the factory defects, of course. You'll be the hero who makes dents disappear and frames straight again. If you're a wizard with a welder and can spot a misaligned panel from a mile away, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Conduct damage assessments with the precision of a seasoned detective, because every dent tells a story.
- Perform structural repairs using state-of-the-art equipment. This is your chance to really show that unibody who's boss.
- Repair and replace panels. If a fender is bent, you'll be the one to tell it to "get a grip."
- Utilize hand and power tools to perfectly smooth repaired surfaces. We're looking for a finish so flawless, you'll question if it was ever damaged in the first place.
- Collaborate with your fellow experts. We’re a team, not a pit of vipers.
- Keep your work area cleaner than a freshly polished bumper. A tidy technician is a happy technician.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest repair techniques and technology. Because cars are evolving, and so are we.
Qualifications and skills
- You have a proven track record as a Collision Repair Technician. We're looking for a pro, not someone who learned to "fix" a car by watching online videos.
- 310B is required or 3rd period apprentice, I car training is an asset. Because a piece of paper can confirm how awesome you already are.
- You're fluent in the language of welders, measuring systems, and other tools of the trade.
- Your attention to detail is so strong, you can notice a fly landing on a car from 20 feet away.
- You can lift heavy vehicle parts. Not just with your muscles, but also with the power of teamwork.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
How to apply
If you're ready to ditch the dreary and join a team that takes pride in their work (and their puns), send your resume and a brief, compelling cover letter explaining why you're the right fit to [email protected].
We may meet our customers by accident, but we hire our technicians on purpose. So, show us what you've got!
