Objective: The Margarine and oils operator assists in daily production and packaging operations, focusing on product handling, packing, and ensuring cleanliness of the workspace and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
o Product Handling and Packing: of oils, fats and margarine
o Assist in measuring and preparation of ingredients as required.
o Feed product into Tanks, Totes, or other feeding devices as required.
o Sort, pack, crate, and palletize finished goods to meet packaging specifications.
o Replenish packaging supplies such as film, jars, lids, and labels.
o Product remelt and rework as required.
Quality and Inspection:
o Inspect filled packages to confirm quality standards.
o Identify and remove defective packages, ensuring accuracy in packing.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
o Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment according to company sanitation and GMP standards.
o Perform basic cleaning tasks on machines and report any malfunctions.
Documentation and Compliance:
o Record production data as needed and follow health and safety procedures, including PPE usage.
o Adhere to company’s HACCP and safety protocols, reporting any issues to the Supervisor,
Support and Coordination:
o Operate machines with skill basic setup and supply needs.
o Communicate with team members to maintain a smooth production flow.
This role requires attention to detail, effective teamwork, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
