Summary:
The Production Lead is responsible for leading and managing numerous Project Managers on multiple job sites, ensuring optimal performance, productivity, and quality. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the job sites, from preparation to completion, including ensuring that all necessary paint supplies and materials are available, managing crew members through their Project Managers, touchup/warranty management, and managing the fleets. This role is also on the tools. We are looking for someone who will lead from the front. The Production Lead will also work closely with their General Manager to provide updates and ensure that projects are completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
High-level responsibilities:
The Production Lead is responsible for preparing job sites by ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are ready, leading the Project Managers, assigning duties, and maintaining productivity and safety. They ensure high-quality standards through regular work reviews, coach the Project Managers to interact with customers to meet their needs and provide updates, and manage the completion of projects, including issuing work orders and capturing payments. Additionally, the Production Lead provides coaching and feedback to Project Managers and communicates with their manager to report on project progress and resolve any issues.This role is also responsible for painting up to 50% of the time.
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Coordinate with the General Manager to plan and prepare job sites by ensuring all necessary materials, equipment, and personnel are in place.
- Coordinate with the General Manager to ensure scheduling of crew members is accurate.
- Oversee daily operations on the job sites, ensuring that the team is working efficiently and safely.
- Participate in painting tasks as needed to maintain project timelines
2. Team Leadership
- Lead multiple Project Managers and paint crews of 3-5+ painting professionals, providing direction and support to ensure high performance.
- Provide feedback and coaching to Project Managers and Project Manager Assistants to develop their skills and improve team performance
3. Project Management
- Track project progress, ensuring that timelines are met and budgets are adhered to.
- Manage project completion, by overseeing the collection of payments in the absences of the Project Manager from customers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Ensure gross margins are met.
4. Reporting & Communication
- Regularly update the General Manager on project status, including any issues or delays.
- Prepare and submit project reports as required.
- Continue to coordinate with the General Manager to any updates or changes that could affect schedule or planning
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $31.00-$35.00 per hour
