Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant, for a 14 month temporary maternity leave replacement, to join our team in Surrey, BC. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, supporting our company's growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial records and ensure accuracy in accounting processes.
- Conduct internal audits to maintain compliance with company policies.
- Oversee risk management procedures related to financial activities.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline financial operations.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance internal controls.
- Qualifications
- 10 Years of Proven experience in accounting, auditing, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and internal audit procedures.
- Excellent analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage risk effectively.
- Prior experience in financial services is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Sage 50 Experience a must.
