Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with hydraulic systems, particularly in heavy equipment (Palfinger cranes). This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance in various applications.
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Repair and maintain hydraulic components, including pumps, cylinders, and valves.
- Assemble hydraulic systems according to specifications and industry standards.
- Operate heavy equipment to test repaired systems and ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize welding skills when necessary for repairs or modifications.
- Operate forklifts for the movement of materials and equipment as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hydraulic Technician or in a similar role within a dealership or heavy equipment environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Familiarity with Palfinger machinery is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation is essential.
- Welding experience is advantageous for performing repairs on hydraulic components.

Pay: $27.00-$45.00 per hour
