CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Freezer Replenisher - RAYMOND REACH OPERATOR

Morning Shift : 6 am to 2:30 pm
You will be responsible for the prompt and accurate assembly of customer orders from the warehouse facilities based on a strong knowledge of product and product availability. You will confirm that all orders are accurate and assembled free from defects in a neat presentation. Other responsibilities will include load/unload shipments of incoming supplies and prepare shipments for delivery. The Order Picker will be required to follow all safe work policies and procedures and work to maintain a clean warehouse environment.

Reporting to: Shift Supervisor
Role Specific Accountability include, but are not limited to the following:
- Fill empty pick locations at the warehouse as required.
- Ensure product is protected i.e., skid is not overhanging in aisle.
- Be able to work in cold environment (-20 C)
- Ensure that right product is being replenished and verified to the right bin location.
- Inspect product to ensure saleable condition with acceptable code dating and report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
- Operate a Forklift, Reach truck, and Walkie in a safe manner to move received product.
- Problem solve for issues with empty bin locations.
- Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- May be required to assist with order picking or receiving.
- May lift cases of product and/or stock merchandise according to documented procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prepare orders for shipment and move orders to the staging area for shipment.
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Operate a Reach and Walkie in a safe manner to move product.
- Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
- Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
- Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Assist in counting of physical inventory and verifying stock and identifying losses.
- Wear proper safety equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Educational /Technical Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Forklift certification preferred.-Raymond Reach certified
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
- Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mathematical skills.
Skill and Knowledge Requirements:
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required.
