AAPS College is Hiring: Full-time Student Career Services and Placement Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Connect with the pharma, food, health and technology industries and identify appropriate partners and positions for student placement.
- Mentor, guide, and coach students in their job search and career development.
- Provide one-on-one resume writing and interview support to the student with respect to technical positions in Pharmaceutical and Food Quality Assurance, Laboratory, Regulatory Affairs, and clinical research departments.
- Good understanding of the industry’s technical and soft skills requirements for roles in laboratory, QA, RA, Clinical Research, Cybersecurity and IT.
- Follow AAPS standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in long-range planning and budgeting processes.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Requirements:
- A college or a university degree.
- Minimum one year of working experience in a related field.
- Must have sound communication and writing skills.
- Must be active on LinkedIn.
- Detail-oriented and strong decision-making, and problem-solving capability is required.
- Prior teaching and/or training experience is an asset.
