Osco requires a concrete finisher to be a part of our team removing and replacing sidewalks, driveways, steps etc., in residential and commercial settings.
Basic work tasks / skills include:
- Setting proper elevations and installing formwork
- Placing and finishing redi-mix concrete
- Organizing materials and equipment for jobs.
- Using equipment such as skid steers for moving, loading and unloading of materials
- Patching, caulking and other concrete related duties as required
- Performing inspections on equipment in yard and then safely transporting to site
- Participating in safety meetings
Minimum job qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 license and clean abstract - MUST HAVE
- Physically fit, and able to complete all work required for the position.
- Experience towing trailers and equipment.
- Fluent in English to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with supervisors, crew, and customers.
Mostly Monday to Friday with Saturdays as work requires.
Wage $29 to $35 per hour based on previous experience.
