Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Labourer/Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating various machinery, performing assembly and fabrication tasks, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. This position offers opportunities for growth within a dynamic production environment.
Duties
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing basic maintenance or repairs
- Use forklifts for material handling
- Assemble components according to technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Pack finished products efficiently while maintaining safety standards in the warehouse environment
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of machinery
- General housekeeping
- Run errands / pickups and drop offs
Skills
- Must have valid class 5
- forklift experience an asset
- experience working around welding and fabricating an asset
This position is ideal for candidates with manufacturing experience who are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and eager to contribute to a high-quality production process.
Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
