Sales Associate (Varlin & Vera İde)
Blue Mountain Village, Ontario
Varlin and Vera İde are growing, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team.
This position may be based in either of our Blue Mountain Village stores, with opportunities to work in both locations:
Varlin – A boutique specializing in Turkish home décor, textiles, ceramics, mosaic lamps, workshops, and unique artisan goods.
Vera İde – A jewellery studio featuring curated collections of affordable fashion jewellery, stainless steel pieces, charm jewellery, and accessories.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, takes pride in creating beautiful displays, and loves helping customers find something special.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome and assist customers
- Build genuine connections and provide exceptional customer service
- Help customers select products and close sales confidently
- Process transactions using our POS system
- Maintain clean, organized, visually appealing displays
- Receive and stock inventory
- Assist with merchandising and store presentation
- Support special events, workshops, and seasonal promotions
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Is friendly, outgoing, and comfortable approaching customers
- Has retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience (preferred but not required)
- Has a strong sense of style and presentation
- Is reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Enjoys working as part of a small team
- Is available evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Can stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate boxes
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with visual merchandising
- Experience in jewellery, fashion, giftware, home décor, or boutique retail
- Knowledge of Turkish culture, travel, art, or handmade products
- Experience creating content for social media
