We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our hotel team. This position plays an important role in creating a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for our guests. The hours of work are 7:00am - 3:00pm every day, you will be required to work a mix or shifts during the week and weekends.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including the lobby, hallways, public washrooms, elevators, meeting spaces, and employee areas.
- Clean and maintain the exterior of the hotel, including entrances, walkways, patios, and other outdoor spaces.
- Set up meeting and event rooms according to event specifications.
- Tear down meeting rooms following events and return spaces to standard setup.
- Assist with meeting and banquet service, including replenishing refreshments and ensuring meeting rooms remain clean and organized throughout events.
- Receive, organize, and put away deliveries and supply orders.
- Assist the Housekeeping department by cleaning guest rooms as needed during busy periods.
- Assist with room service when needed
- Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
- Follow all health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests and assist with guest requests when needed.
