Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents or patients with friendly, attentive customer service, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and food service equipment through regular cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Buss tables and clear trays promptly to keep dining areas tidy and organized.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling techniques and adhering to sanitation standards.
- Support dietary department operations by assisting with inventory management and food storage practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery and accommodate special dietary requests or restrictions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving, and sanitation protocols is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle meal service schedules.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude toward residents and team members.
- Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities such as bussing, cleaning, and supporting food safety standards.
