Valley Craftsmanship is an IICRC 520 / NORMI-certified mold remediation and repair company based in Abbotsford, working across the Fraser Valley. We do the job right — proper containment, proper safety, no shortcuts.
The Role
We need a full-time technician with renovation or construction experience who wants to learn mold remediation and grow with us. We handle the repairs after remediation too, so the more renovation skills you bring, the more useful you'll be. No mold experience needed — we'll train the right person, and we'll pay for your certification coursework once you clear your 3-month probation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Setting up and maintaining containment and negative air on job sites
- Removing and replacing contaminated materials
- Sanding and treating structural wood with HEPA vacuum connected tools
- Working safely in full PPE, including respirators and decontamination procedures
- Completing repairs and rebuild work once remediation is done
- Learning hands-on from an experienced, certified operator
What We're Looking For
- Renovation or construction experience — full start-to-finish renovation skills are a big plus
- Physically capable of demolition and material removal, comfortable working in full PPE and containment
- Reliable, safety-minded, detail-oriented
- Clean-shaven, required for proper respirator fit
- Valid driver's license (an asset)
- Professional on the job: no foul language, zero tolerance for drugs or alcohol, and respect for clients' homes — we're guests in their space
