Position Scope:
The Accounting Administrator will support the Accounting and HR Manager in delivering accurate financial reporting and day-to-day administrative support across both accounting and human resources functions.
This role will play a key part in maintaining financial records, supporting payroll processes, and ensuring HR operations run efficiently. The successful candidate will balance both accounting and HR-related responsibilities, contributing to overall operational effectiveness, compliance, and accuracy across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support with daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable as required
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and identifying any discrepancies
- Process payroll and support the administration of employee records, job descriptions, and benefits programs
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee wages and payroll-related transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including audit preparation
- Support the preparation of financial reports and related documentation
- Review and analyze financial information to identify and resolve inconsistencies or issues
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency with accounting systems and financial software
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and standard practices
- Experience with account reconciliation processes
- Working knowledge of payroll processing and administration
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Education and Experience:
- Postsecondary diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in an accounting, finance, or similar administrative role required

Pay: $55,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
