Overview
This role is essential in maintaining the professional appearance of clothing items, particularly in hotel and laundry settings. Prior experience in hotel laundry or cleaning environments is a plus, but we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Operate dry cleaning machines to dry-clean dresses, suits, coats, sweaters and other garments, draperies, cushion covers and other articles
- Sort garments and operate washing machines and dryers to clean and dry
- clothing, sheets, blankets, towels and other articles
- Operate machines to clean and blow-dry fur garments
- Operate machines to dry-clean, dye, spray, re-oil, and re-buff suede and
- leather garments, chemicals.
Experience
- Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches and other solutions and
- Previous experience in hotel laundry, cleaning, or garment pressing is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with laundry procedures and cleaning techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks efficiently
- Willingness to learn new skills related to garment care and pressing techniques
Shift Time: 7am to 4pm (Mon-Fri)
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
