Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This position involves handling various warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse settings and possess strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and customers. Duties
- Moving and organizing inventory within the warehouse using manual handling techniques and equipment
- Assisting with shipping and receiving processes, including preparing shipments and verifying deliveries
- Verify products against packing slips and purchase orders
- Sort and place products in designated storage areas according to warehouse layout
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring timely order fulfillment
- Use the most efficient route to help avoid any delays in delivery.
- Manageing multiple pickups and drop offs in single trip.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through data entry and stock counts
- Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe, and compliant with safety regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Communicating effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and resolve issues promptly
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and premises.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific equipment such as forklifts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
- Experience with moving items efficiently within a warehouse setting
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to commute to the warehouse location
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
