SMS Equipment is seeking a Lube Truck Operator for the Calgary area. This role is responsible to perform oil and filter changes and oil samples on a variety of customer’s equipment in the field/shop under various conditions, responsible for safe operation and maintenance of the lube truck and maintain good customer relations with timely services of equipment
Wage: $36.18. Additional premiums may apply.
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: 5x2 or 4x3
What You'll Do
- Operating the lube truck
- Changing oil and filters; cutting and analyzing filters for particles
- Retrieving oil samples from compartments of heavy equipment and reporting abnormal findings
- Inspecting equipment, making recommendations for repair, and preparing paperwork
- Maintaining good customer relations
What You Bring
The successful candidate will possess a valid class 3 driver’s license with air brake and experience in operating and serving heavy equipment. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Other requirements include, but are not limited to:
- A minimum of one year experience operating and servicing a variety of heavy equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Clear communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team environment under diverse conditions
- Clear awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety
