Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client in the food manufacturing industry! The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and oversee the successful delivery of engineering projects from equipment installation to large-scale infrastructure expansion.

Job Type: Contract position of 12 months – with high possibility of extension!
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 annually DOE + boot allowance
Shift Structure: Primarily day shift hours - must have some flexibility based on project needs
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle execution of CAPEX projects, from initial planning through final delivery
- Develop, oversee, and control detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, quality, and finance teams to ensure seamless project alignment
- Manage vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers to secure reliable performance and competitive value
- Monitor project risks, resolve issues proactively, and maintain progress against key milestones
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases
- Provide clear, timely progress updates and reporting to stakeholders to support informed decision‑making
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or Food Technology Engineering and/or related field experience.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience within the food manufacturing industry or equivalent
- Must have prior proven experience delivering CAPEX projects
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with chocolate processing technology is considered a strong asset.
