Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the technical needs of production: system assembly, testing and burn in, software imaging / deployment
- Configure and build working prototypes for industrial customers
- Maintain inventory and interface with shipping/receiving dept.
- Troubleshooting of systems, sub-assemblies and RMAs.
- Technical aid during the sales process, including but not limited to interfacing with customers and sales people on design and products
- Maintain quality processes and continuously improve processes
- Documenting and updating build procedures.
- Answer questions and provide support for junior technicians
- Oversee junior technicians for quality purposes
- Continually learn new technology in order to better serve the customer
Basic Qualifications:
- College Diploma (Computer Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) or equivalent experience
- 5+ Years experience in Computer Assembly & Repair
- Experience with deployment of Windows IOT, Windows Pro and Ubuntu.
- Experience with computer hardware and circuit boards
- Ability to identify and act on problems
- Strong communicative ability and ability to work in a team
- Ability to adapt knowledge to suit the needs of a multitude of industries.
