Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Team Member to join our overnight shift. This role is vital to ensuring smooth operations during late-night hours, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience, familiarity with POS systems, and food handling knowledge are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to guests during overnight hours
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cashier duties with professionalism
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Manage time effectively to ensure all duties are completed promptly during shift
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during overnight hours
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and adapt to changing priorities
