Our charitable organization - YouTheatre Movement, invites you to be part of our volunteer fundraising team and help us continue to bring the magic of theatre to audiences across Vancouver and beyond.
Who We Are: YouTheatre has been a pillar of the city's vibrant arts scene for over a decade in local Theatres, and High Schools across the lower mainland. We are dedicated to producing high-quality, thought-provoking theatre that entertains, inspires, and challenges our audiences. With original and innovative works based on topical issues such as the Opioid Crisis, and Residential Schools, we strive to create unforgettable theatrical experiences that raise awareness, provoke thought and inspire action from the audiences.
What We Do: YouTheatre Movement productions not only entertain but also enrich the cultural fabric of Vancouver. We provide a platform for local talent to shine and foster a love for the performing arts in our audiences. However, to continue our mission, we rely on the support of zealous and passionate volunteers like you!
How You Can Help: As a volunteer fundraiser for YouTheatre Movement you'll play a crucial role in securing the future of our beloved Charitable organization. Your efforts will go towards funding upcoming productions, supporting emerging artists, and expanding our educational outreach programs as well as assisting in planning a cross Canada tour in 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Donor Engagement: Reach out to potential donors, individuals, and businesses, sharing our mission and vision for the future of the YouTheatre.
- Fundraising Events: Help organize and execute fundraising events, such as gala nights, silent auctions, and community gatherings.
- Grant Research: Assist in identifying and applying for grants and funding opportunities that align with our goals.
- Donor Appreciation: Show our gratitude to our supporters through personalized thank-you notes, recognition in programs, and exclusive events.
