Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives within our Amazon Fulfillment (3PL) division. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence in the logistics and supply chain sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, project management, and business development, with a focus on e-commerce fulfillment services. Duties
- Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and secure new business opportunities within the Amazon Fulfillment network.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead negotiations with prospective clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and sales to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track prospects, follow-ups, and deal progressions.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in 3PL logistics.
- Coordinate project management efforts to ensure timely onboarding of new clients and seamless integration into existing fulfillment processes.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand visibility and generate leads.
- Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and reports for executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within logistics, supply chain management, or e-commerce fulfillment sectors.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals.
- Excellent project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in marketing strategies relevant to B2B growth initiatives.
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms for pipeline management and reporting.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management best practices to foster long-term client partnerships.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
