Grand Touring Automobiles Calgary is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Junior Service Advisor to support the daily operations of our Service Department. This role is ideal for an individual looking to build a career in the automotive industry while gaining hands-on experience in a luxury dealership environment.
Working closely with Service Advisors and Service Management, the Junior Service Advisor will assist with customer communications, appointment coordination, vehicle intake, repair order administration, and overall service operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
- Assist with vehicle check-ins and service write-ups
- Support Service Advisors with repair order preparation, documentation, and follow-up communications
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate customer transportation requirements
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records within the dealership management system
- Communicate service updates to customers under the guidance of senior team members
- Review completed repair orders for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with warranty documentation and administrative processes
- Coordinate with Parts and Service teams to support efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery
- Follow up with customers regarding service visits and satisfaction inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service reception area
- Support department initiatives focused on customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Service Management
Qualifications
- Previous dealership service experience is preferred
- Experience in a Service Advisor, Service Coordinator, BDC, or customer-facing automotive role is considered an asset
- Luxury or premium brand customer service experience is considered an asset
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a professional, polished demeanor
- Experience using CDK Drive, One-Eighty, or other dealership management systems is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Ability to work collaboratively with Service, Parts, and Sales teams
- Valid Alberta Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
