Class 3 Truck Driver – Dump Truck Operator
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class 3 Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating dump trucks to transport gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk materials to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks in construction and industrial environments
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Safely load, transport, and unload materials
- Maintain accurate driver logs and maintenance records
- Coordinate schedules and routes with site supervisors
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs when needed
- Operate forklifts and other auxiliary equipment as required
- Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Experience operating dump trucks and heavy equipment
- Knowledge of freight handling and commercial driving safety regulations
- Mechanical aptitude and basic repair/troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Physically capable of lifting and working in demanding environments
