The South Vancouver Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Office Assistant to join our team. We are located on the second floor of the Marine Drive Superstore in South Vancouver (at the Main Street and Marine Drive intersection).
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a family medicine or walk-in clinic in British Columbia.
- Proficiency with technology.
- Prior knowledge of the OSCAR EMR system (this is essential).
- Excellent typing speed and task completion ability.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Please note that our clinic primarily uses email to communicate with patients, so you will not face the heavy volume of phone calls common in many clinics.
Hours will be typically:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
A 30-minute unpaid meal break will be provided each workday. You will be off on statutory holidays.
