POSITION SUMMARY
The Faculty of Business at The King’s University is seeking a sessional instructor in Business for the Fall term of the
2026-27 academic year. The course consists of one 3-hour lecture each week.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
BUSI 361 – Tax Principles
Mondays, 6:30 – 9:30 pm
Study of the basic principles of the Canadian income tax system. Topics covered include individual and corporate
tax principles, GST, taxation of various income sources, calculation of net income, taxable income and taxes
payable, income tax management and planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
- CPA designation with experience working in tax. Experience in a public practice an asset
- MBA or PhD in Business or related field an asset
