Here at Custom Edge Finishing we primarily work on high end, custom, residential homes. We are currently looking for Cabinetmakers to add to our great, hard working team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience, 5+ years preferred in a custom cabinet shop working on multiple tools, machinery and parts of prefinished Cabinetry
- Panel saw experience is preferred
- Cut List generation experience an asset
- Generating front & drawers lists an asset
- You must take pride in your work & have a passion for custom cabinetry
- Attention to detail is an absolute must
- You need to have the ability to problem solve & provide efficient solutions to a variety of situations
- Must be able to interpret / read a selection of millwork drawings
- You must be self motivated with a great attitidea
- Able to work alone or take part in a team environment
- With great communication: verbally & written in English
- Excel in a fast paced environment
- Must be comfortable standing for longer periods of time
- Has a great ability to meet deadlines
- Must enjoy being in the cabinet shop and the challenges it presents
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Cutting & assembling cabinetry parts.
- Cutting & assembling cabinet boxes
- Grain matching fronts & gables
- Manufacturing drawer boxes
- All required custom parts
- Opportunity to operate the CNC for the right candidate
