Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform dental hygiene assessments, including reviewing medical and dental histories
- Provide preventive care including professional cleanings, scaling and root planning and fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care
- Capture diagnostic images including bitewing, panoramic, and periapical X-rays
- Capture digital impressions and photographs using intraoral scanners
- Assist the dentist in developing and discussing treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience with Dentrix is considered an asset
- Familiarity with digital radiography, intraoral scanning, or digital dentistry technologies is an asset

Pay: $43.00-$55.00 per hour
