Job description:
Tla’amin Lake Contracting LP (TLC) is seeking an experienced Log Truck Driver to join our team in the qathet Region. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting logs from the woods to the designated facility for unloading.. This role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, understands industrial transport regulations and is a collaborative team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate log trucks to transport timber from harvesting sites to processing facilities
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure loads are secure and comply with all transportation regulations
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain accurate logbooks, necessary paperwork and electronic timecards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
- Minimum 2 years of experience hauling logs
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in forestry operations
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to full-time, long-term employment
