Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain well-stocked showroom through effective merchandising and organization skills
- Provide knowledgeable advice on furniture and mattresses
- Assist customers with online orders, phone and e-commerce inquiries
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times
- Support inventory management by entering inventory shipments on POS
- Address customer questions or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Promote store promotions and special offers to enhance sales opportunities
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures is advantageous
- Knowledge of furniture and mattresses
- Strong communication skills and organizational abilities are essential for success in this role
