Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support food service operations by timely preparation of ingredients and dishes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen workflow
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Adhere to health regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred, ideally with a focus on meal preparation and cooking
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with serving, food handling, and kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail in food presentation and quality assurance
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience will be considered an asset for success in this role
