Overview
We are seeking vigilant and dependable Event Security personnel to ensure the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property during various events. This role requires a professional presence, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security concerns. Ideal candidates will have a valid Security works license, black pants and reliable transportation.
Duties
- Monitor event premises through surveillance systems such as CCTV to identify suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the event area to ensure safety protocols are followed and to deter potential threats.
- Screen attendees and staff for security purposes, including bag checks and credential verification.
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, including crowd control issues or safety hazards.
- Enforce event policies and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of security activities throughout the event.
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with attendees, staff, and emergency responders.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally.
- Physical fitness to patrol large event areas and respond swiftly as needed.
- Must be at least 19 years old and able to pass any required background checks or training certifications related to security operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the safety of large-scale events while developing valuable skills in security management.
