We’re seeking a reliable, experienced Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our resort team in Sioux Narrows, Ontario. This is a stable, full-time, seasonal position , from June - November, with private lakefront accommodations, consistent hours, and a strong work-life balance in a stunning natural setting.

About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our resort operating safely, efficiently, and at a high standard for both guests and staff. You’ll work independently and alongside department leaders to ensure facilities, systems, and accommodations remain in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and organize daily maintenance and repair tasks
- Inspect resort facilities and prioritize repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance
- Perform regular scheduled maintenance on major systems, including:
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing and drainage
- Sewage and septic systems
- UV water purification systems
- Hot tubs
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments
- Communicate and coordinate with department supervisors
- Complete assigned projects efficiently and on schedule
- Maintain accurate repair logs and provide status updates to ownership
- Ensure tools and equipment are safe, organized, and properly maintained
- Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with safety regulations
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role
- Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, general electrical, and mechanical systems
- Valid driver’s license
- WHMIS certification considered an asset
- Strong time management, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and being on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Willing to assist with after-hours emergencies when required
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Must supply own hand tools (larger tools provided)
