Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our bakery manufacturing team. This role involves working in a fast-paced food processing environment focused on producing high-quality baked goods. Candidates should be committed to maintaining food safety standards, sanitation, and efficient production processes. Prior experience in the food industry or manufacturing is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidates. Responsibilities
- Operate packaging equipment to ensure products are properly sealed and labeled for distribution
- Assist with the operation of forklifts to move raw materials and finished products safely around the facility
- Follow strict sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with food safety standards
- Monitor and perform basic mechanical tasks on equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure consistency and adherence to food safety regulations
- Perform basic math calculations for portioning, measurements, and inventory tracking
- Assist with food processing tasks such as mixing, portioning, and baking as needed
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and sanitation procedures
Experience
- Prior experience in the food industry, manufacturing, or food processing is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of packaging procedures and forklift operation is a plus
- Familiarity with sanitation practices and food safety regulations is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or basic troubleshooting skills are beneficial for equipment maintenance tasks
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
