Are you a people person with an eye for interior design and a knack for creating viral content? Our Brampton-based furniture showroom is looking for a Retail Sales & Social Media Associate to join our team.
In this role, you won't just be "working the floor"—you will be the face of our brand both in-person and online. You will help Brampton families find their dream home setups while simultaneously managing our digital storefront across Facebook Marketplace and creating engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Showroom Sales: Greet customers warmly, understand their home styling needs, and provide expert advice on furniture selection, fabrics, and dimensions.
- Social Media Content Creation: Regularly film and edit high-quality TikToks and Instagram Reels showcasing new arrivals, "how-to-style" tips, and behind-the-scenes showroom life.
- Marketplace Management: Actively list inventory on Facebook Marketplace, respond promptly to inquiries, negotiate pricing within company guidelines, and schedule pickups/deliveries.
- Digital Engagement: Manage comments and direct messages on Facebook and Instagram to convert online interest into in-store foot traffic.
- Visual Merchandising: Assist in staging furniture sets to look "camera-ready" for both the showroom floor and digital content.
- Sales Processing: Handle POS transactions, finance applications, and delivery scheduling with accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead Follow-up: Maintain a "client book" to follow up with customers about pending orders or new items that match their style.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Retail Excellence: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail sales (furniture or home decor experience is a major asset).
- Social Media Savvy: High proficiency in TikTok, Instagram (Reels/Stories), and Facebook. You should know how to use trending audios and basic editing tools (CapCut, etc.).
- Marketplace Fluency: Proven experience selling on Facebook Marketplace and an understanding of how to optimize listings for local Brampton/GTA buyers.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English. Bilingualism is a significant advantage in serving our diverse Brampton community.
- Design Eye: A natural sense of aesthetics and the ability to help customers coordinate colors and textures.
- Physical Ability: Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and assist in the light movement/rearrangement of furniture for staging and photoshoots.
- Availability: Must be able to work weekends, as these are our busiest days for both foot traffic and online inquiries.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
