We are recruiting ICU nurses for travel assignments at various hospitals across Nova Scotia.

What you need to have?
- Have to have an active NS license under good standing with NSHA
- Critical Care Certificate and/or Emergency Department Certificate
- 2+ years' experience working within a Critical Care Unit, ICU unit
- BLS, ACLS, Critical Care Certificate mandatory
- CTAS, TNCC, PALS considered an asset
- Experience working in Emergency Room considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate the nursing care of critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment
- Caring and empathetic, acts always with integrity & respect
- Responsive and accountable, with strong communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and in-depth knowledge of critical care and emergency procedures
- Flexible, easily able to adapt to new and different environments
- Strong decision-making, can make timely and effective decisions, and advocates for patient well-being
- Proficient in computer software, online documentation and electronic health records experience an asset
Other requirements
- Ability to relocate to Nova Scotia for the duration of the contracts
- Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (MMRV) proof of negative TB skin test within one (1) year
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses)
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check
