Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team! The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, helping create a warm and welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of our practice. Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with a friendly and positive attitude, and check them in efficiently.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments as needed.
- Answer a multi-line phone system, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software.
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing and payment collection.
- Explain financial policies in a clear and courteous manner.
- Prepare and organize patient charts for upcoming appointments.
- Assist with treatment scheduling and follow-up appointments.
- Perform hygiene recall calls by reaching out to patients who are due or overdue for their regular hygiene visits and helping them schedule appointments.
- Contact patients regarding outstanding treatment recommendations and follow-up care.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Support the dental team with a variety of front desk and administrative duties to help ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
- Previous dental office experience is required.
- Experience using dental practice software is required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
