The Role
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager who is ready to grow into a leadership role within restoration and construction. You will be responsible for managing the projects assigned to you and you will work closely with:
- A Senior Project Manager mentor
- A dedicated Project Manager Assistant
- Administrative and accounting support
- Business development coaching and leadership guidance
Our goal is to help you build confidence, technical knowledge, and strong communication skills while managing projects successfully.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
With support and training, you will take ownership of the projects assigned to you from start to finish. This includes:
- Attending site visits and meeting with clients to assess damage and begin the project process
- Preparing scopes of work, preliminary estimates, and outlining equipment, materials, and manpower requirements
- Coordinating trades, suppliers, Contents Crew, and On Site crews to ensure work progresses according to plan
- Maintaining accurate and timely project documentation in XactAnalysis and internal systems
- Communicating consistently with clients, insurance partners, and internal team members throughout the life of the project
- Monitoring timelines, updating milestones, and keeping projects organized by priority
- Ensuring required documentation is completed, including job authorizations, change approvals, and completion forms
- Reviewing trade invoices and supporting accurate job costing
- Collecting deductibles and supporting proper billing procedures
- Ensuring health, safety, cleanliness, and quality standards are maintained on every site
- Documenting cause of loss details, including photos and written reports
- Supporting strong customer service by providing regular status updates and addressing concerns promptly
You will be supported by mentorship, administrative assistance, and accounting guidance as you develop confidence in managing projects independently.
What We’re Looking For
- Must have hands on experience in construction in Canada for a minimum of 3 years
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication
- Mastery of the English language, including strong comprehension, speaking, and professional writing skills
- Solid computer skills and comfort working in digital platforms and project management software
- Experience in restoration or estimating
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, calm, and solution-focused under pressure
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
