Position Summary
The Commercial Equipment Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing commercial coffee brewing equipment, water filtration systems, and related beverage equipment at customer locations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while representing the company in a professional manner.
The successful candidate takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, and building lasting relationships with customers.
Equipment Installation & Service
- Install commercial coffee brewing equipment, water coolers, reverse osmosis systems, and related beverage equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing-related equipment issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service visits.
- Complete repairs efficiently while ensuring equipment is operating safely and correctly.
- Rebuild and refurbish equipment to company standards.
- Program and calibrate equipment as required.
- Test equipment before leaving each customer location.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience in Canada.
- Clean driver's abstract with no at-fault accidents or demerits that would affect commercial insurance eligibility.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer and mobile device skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Bondable.
Preferred
- Experience servicing commercial coffee equipment or food service equipment.
- Appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical experience.
- Technical training or trade certification is considered an asset.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- No evenings or weekends, except in emergency situations.

Pay: $43,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
