Job Title: Experienced Installer – Industrial, Fabric & Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings
Location: Leduc (Travel Required)
Job Type: Project Based Work (Projects are based on 70 hour work week: 7 days/week x 10 hour days)
About the Role
We are seeking skilled and experienced Installers to join our team specializing in industrial structures, fabric buildings, and pre-engineered steel building systems. This role involves hands-on installation, structural assembly, and working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment across various project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble pre-engineered steel buildings and fabric structures
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Erect structural steel components, wall panels, and roofing systems
- Safely operate tools, equipment, and aerial work platforms
- Ensure alignment, leveling, and structural integrity of installations
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, project managers, and crew members
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and site-specific procedures
- Travel to project sites as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in steel building or fabric structure installation
- Experience with pre-engineered building systems (e.g., Butler, Varco Pruden, Behlen, etc.) is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices
- Valid Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, and First Aid certifications preferred
- Physically fit and able to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
