Golf Camp Instructor (Junior Coach)
July 20–24 & July 27–31, 2026
Are you a passionate golfer who loves working with kids? We're looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Golf Camp Instructor to join our summer golf camp team in Markham.
This position is ideal for a competitive junior golfer, college golfer, golf team member, or experienced player who may not be a PGA Professional but has the skills, confidence, and personality to help young golfers improve their game.
About the Camp
Our campers spend their mornings at Markham Golf Dome working on:
- Full swing fundamentals
- Chipping and pitching
- Putting
- Golf etiquette and course management
In the afternoons, campers head to a local executive golf course where they apply what they've learned in a real on-course environment.
Responsibilities
- Move between groups providing coaching, tips, and encouragement
- Help golfers improve their swing, short game, and course management
- Lead skill-building drills and games
- Provide positive feedback and individualized instruction
- Support campers on the course and help maintain pace of play
- Ensure a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with camp setup and daily operations
Qualifications
- Strong golf background and playing experience
- Comfortable coaching beginner and intermediate junior golfers
- Experience working with children is an asset
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Patient, energetic, and dependable
- Competitive golf, high school golf team, college golf, or coaching experience preferred
Dates: July 20–24, 2026 & July 27–31, 2026
Location:
Markham Golf Dome
Local Executive Golf Course (transportation between locations provided if required)
