About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bakery Cleaner to join our team! In a bakery, cleanliness and hygiene are top priorities. You will play a key role in keeping our kitchen, equipment, and customer areas sparkling clean, safe, and fully prepped for daily baking operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deep clean bakery equipment, mixing bowls, baking sheets, trays, and utensils.
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, tools, and kitchenware.
- Sweep, mop, and scrub kitchen floors, prep stations, and storage areas.
- Empty trash, compost, and recycling bins regularly.
- Clean and sanitize counters, sinks, walls, and restrooms.
- Follow food safety guidelines, sanitation standards, and proper chemical handling procedures.
- Restock cleaning supplies, paper towels, and hand soap as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Basic cleaning or dishwasher experience required (prior experience in a bakery, restaurant, or commercial kitchen is a plus!).
- Knowledge of standard sanitation procedures and cleaning products.
- Ability to lift up to [e.g., 30–50 lbs] and stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Punctual, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 9AM - 5PM
