Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, as well as a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure project completion.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
- Work with low voltage systems as needed, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in both residential and industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics for effective installation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations are preferred but not mandatory.
