We are currently recruiting a couple of Personal Support Workers to assist a male employer with his activities of daily living, including personal care.
He used to play hockey and is still a big fan and enjoys watching games. This employer loves animals, especially his dog, so an ideal candidate would also love animals.
Location:
- Summerland (near Summerland Waterfront Resort Hotel)
Available Shifts:
- Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 12:30pm and 4:30pm to 7:30pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 9:30am to 12:30pm and 4:30pm to 7:30pm
Compensation:
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- All personal care activities including showering, dressing, oral care and washroom care (including diaper changes)
- Medication Administration
- Light housekeeping
- possible assistance with transfers in the future
Requirements:
- First Aid/CPR certification is required
- Experience working with clients with brain injuries is preferred
- Food Safe Certificate is preferred
- Drivers license and reliable vehicle is required
- Comfortable working in an environment with a Husky
- Previous Caregiving experience is preferred
- Love of cooking is a strong asset
