Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sprinkler Fitter or Sprinkler Fitter apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing sprinkler systems in commercial and residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of fire protection schematics, and mechanical systems, with the ability to read blueprints and work with various tools. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems according to specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Use hand tools and power tools
- Perform rigging and mechanical tasks required for system installation
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of sprinkler systems to ensure proper operation
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to all safety protocols related to plumbing, welding, and construction activities
Experience
- Proven experience in sprinkler system installation or related construction fields
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC systems, and mechanical principles
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Experience working with manufacturing or construction environments preferred
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for fire suppression systems is a plus
This role requires candidates to possess mechanical knowledge, be comfortable working with schematics and blueprints. Applicants should have prior experience in construction or manufacturing settings and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks safely.
Pay: $28.00-$50.00 per hour
