Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimator to join our construction team. This role is essential in overseeing project planning, estimating costs, and ensuring successful project execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in construction management, estimating, and software tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality infrastructure.
Duties
- Develop accurate project estimates using construction estimating software such as Accubid.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assess project scope and requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals and bid packages based on project specifications.
- Utilize construction management software like ProCore, Bluebeam.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to establish project timelines and budgets.
- Manage project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Oversee project execution from initiation through completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
- Track project costs and perform regular cost analysis to stay within budget parameters.
- Lead project meetings, communicate updates effectively, and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure all projects adhere to contractual obligations, safety regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or related roles with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Hands-on experience with construction estimating tools is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics accurately.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant educational background or certifications in construction management or civil engineering are advantageous.
Pay: $42.50-$50.00 per hour
