This is a contract, with the possibility to develop into a career position.
At SurfaceID, you will conceive and create innovative products; you will consider the customer needs and their competition.
As an intern, we will ask you to:
- Assist multiple projects at multiple levels
- Support the office through organizational activities
- inspect products and do quality control and understand product failures
- Assemble products and gain an understanding of manufacturing processes
- Sketch concepts by hand
- develop 'rough' prototypes by hand
- help develop marketing concepts
- shoot video, and do video editing
- help develop kickstarter campaigns
A few requirements:
- You can sketch! (CAID)
- You can shoot and edit video, pictures, using after effects
- You understand standard engineering and manufacturing process documentation
